Book Launch

With a smashing presentation in Leiden, Vasco Silva and I launched our book on the 5th April 2024. Creating spaces of confluence. Portuguese guitar music by Filipe Oliveira flowed together with the kora and drums of Moussé Dramé. There were stories from us, from Dr. Walter Nkwi, Ylse van der Schoot and Akinyinka Akinyoade. There was room for meeting and conversation. And in the end, the group of scientists and entrepreneurs, development workers, friends and family, people from the Netherlands and from different African countries turned into a whirling dance fest.
