IODA Connects

“Connection ís the content,” according to Peter Block. He spoke these words during the conference in Ghana of IODA – International Organization Development Association, last week. Author of many books and spending a lifetime working on chosen accountability and reconciling community, his conclusion is sound and simple: it is all about connection.

Yet, connection is not always obvious or self-evident, especially across cultural boundaries. But IODA is one of the organizations that does its very best to do just that: build and maintain relationships despite all its challenges. And this Ghana IODA World Summit 2025 was another beautiful conference to speak for it. There’s content, talks, visits and games. And there’s always the warmth and curiosity to speak with each other, being together and getting to know other people and perspectives. I was very happy to be a part of it.
