“Wonderful experience”

After a few online trainings, I finally got the chance to do a face-to-face training with this management team in Ghana. We had covered quite some ground online, yet they all felt the incredible difference with this one. Being in the room, being able to laugh, touch, discuss and look each other in the eye.

Various aspects of intercultural management can be understood at different levels. To really hit home, it takes presence and tone of voice and even acting out what happens when values get hurt. This is true for me, as a trainer, and it’s also true for the participants, who were now able to do serious gaming, lively discussion on their practice, and some good role playing. It was a perfect day, with great feedback from one the managers in their text group: “Wonderful experience , by far one of the best trainings I have had in my career. Thank you to everyone ”
